The first room we truly got to finish "making over"! pics range from September 2005 to July 2007 when we finished all the painting and moved the furniture back in - we still have to get the crutains replace!

The painting took 3 months in this room - the painting only happened on the days it was too crummy to work outside, so the furniture would get dragged into the middle of the room, we'd paint some, and then move it all back again! it's nice to have a whole lounge room again seeing the dining room table has been living in here since April!

Quick timeline of the makeover"
September 2005 - we moved in here and a quick photo diary of the house showed it before we "gutted and restarted" - we have gotten rid of some of the furniture and replaced it with newer and/or matching furniture
June 2007 - after moving the bulk of the furniture out of the dining room, and rearranging what was left, we managed to get the painting going in earnest.
July 2007 - make over of the room is pretty much done - still a little bit of tweaking left (new curtains for instance) - but hey, it's getting there! The dining room has now become the storage room for furniture while we paint the loung room.
September 2007 - new runner on the table and centrepiece added - we needed a heavy runner to stop the cats pulling everything off the table!
